Postpartum depression is REAL
Postpartum depression is a very real and very serious problem for many mothers. It can happen to a first time mom or a veteran mother. It can occur a few days… or a few months after childbirth.
From mental health quotes on Healthshire.com
I am so pissed. At the lies and stories that are being told 24 years later. Anything just to cover up the shame of PPD or PPP (Post Partum Psychosis). Give me a break, it’s bullshit. I hold no delusions…but y’all can live in your fairy tale worlds and try to pray to your God to make sense out of it. There is none.

‘Scuse the nudity on my blog, but this woman is badass. These are TRADITIONAL Japanese tattoos. Tattooed in the traditional aka very fucking painful and long way.
I love when people say ‘oh you’re too young’ to have this and that problem. I think so, too. I’d like these problems to magically disappear. But they won’t, so I’m stuck with them. Feeling sick and weak lately ugh.
Seen at Lincoln Center.
I love his thin build and that weird walk. Dude is so weird. Awesomeness.

“Where do you want to be in ten years?”
“I just want to be happy.”
“Well, are you happy now?”
“…happy-ish.”
“If people don’t start paying closer attention, we’re going to be living in a corporate fascist state in no time. We’re paying $3.50 for a cup of coffee. You know how much a POUND of coffee beans costs? $3.50. But nobody knows that. Cause nobody’s paying attention.”
My name is Brandon Stanton and I’m a photographer in New York City. As many of you already know, several months ago I was approached by the fashion label DKNY, who offered me $15,000 to purchase 300 of my photographs. I politely refused the offer. But earlier this week, one of my fans discovered that DKNY was using my photographs anyway— in Asia. (Full Story:http://thebea.st/13ijYt6)
As atonement for this infringement, I publicly requested that DKNY donate $100,000 in my name to the YMCA in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, so that underprivileged children could attend summer camp. DKNY responded on Monday with a $25,000 donation.
Over the next three days, my audience stepped in and raised the full $100,000 themselves. Over 3,000 people chipped in, and raised an astonishing $103,710 in 72 hours. (http://bit.ly/YTy4h3)
I have no interest in vilifying DKNY. It is a company composed of thousands of good people. The founder, Donna Karan, is highly respected around the world for both her creativity and philanthropy.
But I would appreciate if you would REBLOG this post, and lend your voice to my request that DKNY raise their donation to match the $103,710 that we raised.
Together, we could create a $208,000 investment in the lives of children in one of New York’s most vital and diverse neighborhoods. Thank you so much.
Boosting. Assholes.
“I never did any sports in college or high school, and now that I’m thirty, I’m really feeling the need to exert myself physically.”
